Hi Austin,
Could you please give us some more information, or screenshots of what's going on?
If you could do that we should be able to help out.
Cheers! :)

srry idk how to do a screenshot but the colonist will ignore hauling the poataoes and crops and all but there are no errors
but the colonist will grow the crops but when there done they wone take them to the stockpile and they will only cook it though? is this a bug?

when you look at the work screen does the colonist have either a number or a tick in the hauling column?
or is there even a tickbox in the column?
if no tickbox then the colonist's backstories have  disabled hauling and often happens on chefs, but not always.
personally when playing I tend to check the available information on the charater screen, and if hauling is disabled, I tend to refuse the colonist

yes the hauling thing is checked but has no number though

so you are using the 'simple' interface, a tick is ok, just means that the pawn CAN do the task if tere are no higher(further left) priority tasks eg crafting, taloring, art, plant cutting, mining, etc...
personally the first thing I do on the work screen is to place a tick in the tickbox at the top of the window labeled 'Manual priorities', then you get five levels of priority (1 do first, 2 do if no 1 tasks,3 do if no 1 or 2 tasks,4 do if no 1,2 or 3 tasks, blank do NOT do) sldo in the left to right priority level
