What do you think about z-levels? How much z-levels should be on map?

this has been frequently suggested and frequently shot down, both by tynan and various modders, basically the extra z levels qould be massively increasing the memory needed(for each extra z level it would need the same memory as the map uses at present) and slowing down pathing of all the pawns as the pathing examines all the possible paths (with 3d pathing, the possible paths increase by the cube power of the map size and 2d, it is only the square of the map size)

So, yeah, one of the top 5 most suggested things, and has been shut down, pretty much not happening.
