My number of allowed downloads keeps going down

But I'm only downloading new versions of the game as it comes out...

Well every new version the number resets.
If you download it it goes down 1

New version it resets
If it doesnt email or pm tynan

5 is the max number of download available.

I came here to ask the same question. I was under the impression that every time a new release came out the downloads would reset, however my downloads have been steadily dropping, 7, 6, 5, now 4. Want to be sure I'm not going to end up being cut off!

The person above said that the max number is 5 (which doesn't make real sense since I started at 7 or 8 from memory). Can anyone else confirm that it resets to 5 when a new release comes out? that would explain why I haven't seen the downloads increase at all, since this latest release is the first one to see my downloads drop below 5.

It is supposed to reset to 5

Thanks for confirming for me, I was concerned I'd end up getting locked out from future releases. I'll watch for it to reset to 5 next release!

It would be great if this information was mentioned in the emails and on the sendowl page... and added to the FAQ, so it's easier to check what is that 5-downloads limitation.

I really love forums, but having to manually search through the categories, threads, pages and posts, to finally get an official/semi-official word on a major feature is not the most efficient system - a FAQ and the download page would be a much more logical choice.

And it's really not trivial: it's a Digital Rights Management measure limiting the amount of download per version update, it directly affects the End-User license backers currently have. It scared the hell out of me the first time I saw this (download limits, out of nowhere).
