Noob Questions

In my searching, i have not found a suitable answer to a couple of questions that I have.

1) How do you sell weapons? I have weapons stored in equipment racks, but they do not come up as an option to sell when I communicate with a trading ship.

2) I am not getting additional colonists quickly enough to produce anything in enough quantity to trade for profit. Suggestions? I cannot seem to make any profits to save my life.

All items for sale must be put on a Launch Pad. At the moment, I don't think weapon racks have any use anymore.

As for the profits, well, the early game is hard. I guess if you sell Raider weapons, it's good enough for a start.

No, just nix the racks and put the weapons on the pad. As I said, the racks doesn't have a purpose now.

The pad has a storage 'zone' under it, single click the pad twice (not double click). You can then select the pad to take the weapons you dont want

Just agreeing. The equpiement racks were in the game before there were the storage zones we have now, so that's why we still have them, but they serve little purpose now.

I quite like the equipment racks.

But yes, move items to the launchpad to sell them. I've sold a shitload (i.e. the whole launchpad) of surplus weapons before now and netted myself more silver than I know what to do with. I'm waiting on a trade ship coming by so that I can buy metal. There's plenty of metal to mine still, but it's all at the other end of the map and raiders are quite frequent now.

Aye, the equipment racks are a nice little way of storing guns neatly and in style. Sure they aren't necessary, but it looks nicer than having them on the floor IMO

Yep, equipment racks is just a more aesthetic way of storing your weapons now. I still use them for storing my secondary weapons at my strategic defense positions - weapons like frags and such that are useful to equip at certain times, but less useful (or suicidal) as default gear.

Oh please. I have different stockpiles for different items. Even different stockpiles for different types of items. I wouldn't want anyone looking for manga rummaging through my collection of...gentleman's special interest.
