Option to use the old UI

It's been quite a bit since I've last played this game, and there is only one reason. Ever since the UI changed a few builds ago, I cannot stand to play the game. I don't quite understand it, but I'm just horribly irked by the current UI. Taking up the entire bottom of the screen like that is just like putting an itch I can't quite scratch in my mind. I want to try all the new things that the game has to offer now, but honestly can't stand playing it like this. I would very much love an option to toggle the old UI style.

Is it possible to mod this? I would think so, as others have modded new buttons into that bottom row I believe. If you can't mod that yourself, perhaps put a request in the Mod forum to see if someone else will.

I'm no modder myself, but I've made a request over there like you suggested. It's probably my best bet for playing the game again, so thanks!
