Edit: I reinstalled for like the 5th time after deleting "Core" from mods folder and now it is working fine. If I run back into this issue I will try and figure out what is causing it. It looks like Steam downloaded double of something and it was conflicting like crazy. I will leave what I wrote below in-case Tynan wants to investigate or my issue comes back tomorrow.

Hello,

When I boot up my game file I am presented with a debug box with a bunch of red text. Everything from calling reference points to xml issues etc. I do not have any mods.

At the very bottom there is a red text with numbers counting upward quickly "Object Reference not set to an instance of an object"

When I exit all of that I try to make a map and literally it doesn't even generate one and I can't see any of the AI pictures on the left "Phoebe" etc.

Edit 1: I have tried both deleting all files and redownloading as well as verifying game in steam. I had RimWorld installed before it went to steam and it ran perfectly. Not sure why the steam version is acting like this, I have previously been a modder for RimWorld as well and have gone through steps such as deleting config files: (C:\Users\usernamehere\AppData\LocalLow\Ludeon Studios\RimWorld\Config)
and reloading but even that didn't work.

I am not sure how to replicate this bug for developers.
I could not locate this file:
Windows: .\RimWorld####Win\RimWorld####Win_Data\output_log.txt

I attached screen shots of when I initially start up RimWorld then going into New Game and selecting scenario and then the 3rd is the non-pictured AI, the 4th is both before and after I click generate, it just reloads this page after a second.

Thanks for the report & the legwork.

For the log file, Steam has it in a different folder:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RimWorld\RimWorldWin_Data\output_log.txt

I'll update the log file directions - thanks for pointing that out!
