That surprised me. It got colder and colder. If Volcanic Winter gave -20 C then, it should have been around -75 C. However, it dropped to -95 C ! Only Megatherium parka can solve this problem, which gives your pawn more temperature resistance, -110 C, but they are rare. All free animals I got here were 2 husky which were for decorative purpose.

This rem, inds me to never ever ever settle in an arctic region ... at least unless I am in a very masochistic mood :D

The lowest temperatures I got (temperate region, winter, cold snap) were around -20/-30°C (and they already forced me to increase the number of heaters in my common rooms to 2, just in order to keep the temperatures in them above 15°C

If the average temperature in Winter is -59, then you should expect some numbers higher and some lower. It's 3am in the night, and nights are usually colder. You also have an eclipse which should realistically lower the temperature (maybe it shouldn't stack with night time cold though, not sure).

Add (decrease) a few degrees here and there for the above reasons, and I don't find it strange at all.

If you want even colder, try my scenario.  It can drop down to -220F/-140C in winter.   Lol.  Best of luck to anyone who gives it a try.
