So i noticed on the steam workshop that there is a medieval times mod. The picture showed a rather intense looking siege battle with a sea of raider pawns. Can someone with experience with the mod tell me about how far into the game this would be?

To be honest im one of those players that can fall into a rut year one, I did fairly well in alpha 13-14 Cassandra classic rough. To be honest if i don't get a spawn that doesn't have a natural choke point for me to turtle near i tend to struggle getting kill boxes ready. I have watched a few youtube series that have great defenses [Aavaks Oolong Rise is a fav] but to be honest I'm not sure if I'm off that skill level.

So basically I'm *SUPER* interested in the mod but might be above my skill level till i know more.

Thank you for time~

Just try it. The goal is not to win or loose but to have fun :). I personally like for the different factions it brings to play

Thanks not really answering the question but fair enough. Does it work with the expanded prosthetic's mod?

The Medieval Warbands which is the likely faction that would be doing an attack like that are basically a Tribe but with medieval era tech, so the raids are about the same size most of the time in most cases id say after about 2 - 2 and a 1/2 years you should begin seeing raids with pawns in the 20s and larger. If you have seen gigantic tribal raids and been able to repel them you should be able to repel the larger medieval raids without much added difficulty. But after a jump into the game and the spawn raid an 8200 raid has about 120 pawns. Unless you are trying an all melee or use the addon mod that removes guns from the game a well made choke point, turrets and firearm equipped colonists like the tribal raids you should make short work of a large warband raid

And using some of the security options from the mod itself also work wonders

Thank you very much i will likely start one in the near future! i have a few days of work till a day off so going to wait a bit.

Thank you again!
