Post your strangest / most useless colonists!

Every once and a while (and in my case quite often) you encounter colonists who are just.. strange, weird or just outright useless.
I'm curious to see which ones you have. Place them here :).

This is Mack, spending childhood as a mute (-3 social) and then suddenly being given social skills (+6) to become a charity worker, but when crashlanding she is suddenly not capable of social anymore.

I kept her for hauling, taming and cleaning ;).

This morning I was joined by a Vatgrown Soldier who was a Paramedic. Vatgrown Soldier disables the Medicine skill.

No rest for the staggeringly ugly and abrasive, I guess.

I've got some screenshots laying around that I'll post in a day or so.

Once had a Vatgrown Soldier who spent their adulthood as a Glitterworld Empath. They had disabled social work.

That was a few versions ago, so maybe only a thing of the past.

One time I had a captive (taken from an ancient cryo chamber) with some pretty decent mining skills (about 12 I think) but scored absolute sh** in all else. Back then I was expanding my base into the mountain, so I thought wth, and recruited him.
Due to some twist of fate however, only after I had him recruited did I realize he has asthma, AND 2/5 of his brain injured. His overall speed was 65%, but my colony was prosperous, so I let him live.
Then one day, a raid hit, while he was away mining some ore without my knowledge. And of course, given his dreadful movement, he got himself into the crossfire and lost A GODD*MN ARM. Got him all patched up, nevertheless, and another day he lived.
Then somehow, being an abrasive a**hole he was, he picked a fight with the doctor, who had just saved his butt, for giving him "the look" (did I mention he was obese and ugly?). And you guessed it, the unlucky bastard got beaten up to a pulp, AND managed to lose a finger and a toe (the doctor was godd*mn unarmed).
After that, the colony had a lung and a heart to spare, and some extra meat to feed the wargs
TRUE. GODD*MN. STORY.

Kadian

I remember one pretty useless person from my past.
Her name was Kay. In her Childhood, she lived as a Convent Child with Nuns, in a medieval world, disabling Hunting(aka fighting), several crafting options and researching for her.
Then, in her Adulthood, she somehow became an Assassin, which basically disables everything else.
In the end, she had like...1 or 2 skills she could actually use - Artistic stuff and Animalkeeping, and she sucked at both. Luckily, she was never a part of my colony, she simply wandered through my territory.

Up to this day I do not know if this combination was just random 'bad luck' for Kay, or if a mod somehow intervened. It does feel kinda odd that there are combinations which can limit a character to a lifetime of herding sheep while casually carving wooden dolls for their children.

I've got a Vatgrown Soldier/Paramedic who can't do medical stuff.

"Human Computer", ooo, that sounds neat!

Incapable of: Intellectual, artistic, crafting

A human computer who can't research?  LOL!

If you give an annoying colonist a parka before banishing him to the ice sheet you'll only get a -3 penalty instead of -5.

And don't forget that the pirates chasing a refugee are often better recruits than the refugee is.

Things like this make me wonder if there is a bug in the character generation code.  Shouldn't "Incapable of" be driven by character type?  It makes sense that feudal lords are incapable of hauling.  I think someone ticked the wrong tick boxes on these new character setups...

[edit] Well this is odd.  I cannot find "caveworld tunneler" or "human computer" in either the mods or the source.  Where are character types coming from?

[edit ][edit] Oh, I figured out what is happening with theses characters.  "Caveworld tunneler" is disabling intellectual.   It's just a clash between incompatible types which the game should exclude.

I do think adulthood roles which have a + to a skill should counteract a disabled effect.

weirdest I had was a farmboy who grew up to be a crazed butcher..had everything but cleaning disabled.

Farmboy had fighting disabled, and butcher had almost everything but fighting disabled.... meaning all they could do is ...clean and thats it.
Why to people worry about following their heart? Its lodged in your chest, you won't accidentally leave it behind.

Its bad because reasons, and if you don't know the reasons, you are horrible. You cannot ask what the reasons are or else you doubt it. But the reasons are irrefutable. Logic.

I wander if it possible to make EVERYTHING disabled.
