Count "refuel stove" as cooking

This. I noticed that my cookers werent cooking even though there were plenty of things to cook. Then I forced someone to refuel it and they started to cook... I suppose thats because the haulers didnt refuel it and I think that refueling should be a cook and hauler job.

Refuelling is a Hauling activity. Cooks don't have it, for better or for worse. I might add it to Refactored Work Priorities, though.

Its definitely for worse. I had 2 cooks, 2 stoves and a ton of food and everyone starving cause these two idiots can put the log in the stove (i had 1x1 storage for wood right next to it). Thats so stupid...

I will integrate it into Refactored Work Priorities. You can download the new version from my Miscellaneous Mods thread (in my signature) in about 10-15 minutes. This still isn't a bug, though. You should move it to Suggestions or close the thread probably.

As Dingo says, this is WAD and not a bug since refuelling is a hauling job, not cooking (as already mentioned).

So moving this thread to Suggestions.

Not a a bug in the strict way but I see it as an oversight or something that lacks logic in all sides...

Hauling and cleaning both need someone set to priority 1. Pretty much the only way to accomplish anything.

Yes, Im starting to notice that. Or simply have 2-3 useless guys to always haul and clean, and have the skilled guys with passion do the work and dont waste time.

It's updated on Steam if you were already subbed there, so you'll get it automatically.

I like having both a fueled AND an electric stove. 

Yeah, the hauling restrictions can be a little weird and unrealistic.  Especially for hunters who refuse to haul, but will happily carry a dead elephant from the edge of the map to your base (unless you draft them; then they'll refuse to pick it up again).

I would say, perhaps cooking should have a CHECK for if the stove is needing fuel, similar to colonists hauling supplies to be crafted. Just make a refuel check at 25% fuel or something, shouldn't be hard.
Why to people worry about following their heart? Its lodged in your chest, you won't accidentally leave it behind.

Its bad because reasons, and if you don't know the reasons, you are horrible. You cannot ask what the reasons are or else you doubt it. But the reasons are irrefutable. Logic.

I made Cooks Can Refuel a separate mod, you can download it from the thread in my signature. It uses a custom Refuel workgiver that only works for the fuelled stove, and its priority is just below cooking meals. If your cooks still have active cooking bills they will refuel the stove and continue cooking.
