Cant start a new game

I am not able to start a new game at all. Each time I click on "New Colony", I get this error in the log window on the left:
"Getting random element from empty list
Array index is out of range"

I do not have any mods installed and re-downloading the game does not change anything.

I dont know if this can help, but here is the path where the RimWorld exe file is located. The data, mods and config folders are right next to it.
C:\Users\Julien Stébenne\Desktop\RimWorld\RimWorld408Win

Problem is with your special character in username. Move RimWorld to C:\RimWorld and everything will be fine

I think the next time I re-instal my compupter I'm not going to use my real name. It's not the first time I have a problem with the accent in my name.

If you update to Alpha3d this will be fixed. But yes, I can imagine you'd find problems with a lot of software, having a non-ASCII name.
