No matter what I do everytime I click 1 field it automaticly selects every field I have. Now this wouldn't be a huge issue but I have over 40 different crop types and only using 1 gets old. Is there a button you have to push first cause I haven't had this problem before.

Have you tried altering the double-click sensitivity settings within the mouse configuration options, which you should be able to access via the control panel (although that will depend on your O/S, and whatever version of that O/S you are using).

Lightzy

Yeah it's a problem.

I think you have to click and then wait and then click again, not double-click. Then it cycles through things on that tile.

But sometimes it doesn't work, for me also.

Ive seen it happen but i just assumed i was clicking too fast.....
Skullywag modded to death.
I'd never met an iterator I liked....until Zhentar saved me.
Why Unity5, WHY do you forsake me?

I thought this was about food crops. I see little point in using something other than rice. Potatoes on normal soil, maybe.
But berries and corn? Why would I plant those?

PiggyBacon

Rice is nice and all but its not the greatest food out there. I have 3 different farming mods which offer dozens of different plants, drinks and other mood buffs. Lowering the mouse sensitivity doesn't seem to help any. Seems to be mostly chance on whether or not you'll get 1 farm or all of them.

Mekhet

as far as i know you can also select fields bei dragging a box around them (when theres no other object on top, like a colonist)

Berries don't need to be cooked, to avoid the "ate uncooked food" debuff.  they're one of the best initial crops, until your stoves are working full-time.
Thanks, belgord!

It always happens, if you double click the growing zone it will select every growing zone in the screen.

My way out of this was to drag the mouse and select the growing zone I want.

Also click on crop and (the arrow down button) will work.

And if you want a crop to rule them all, use smokeleaf.

codyo

You only have to click and drag just one tile of the field to select it.

Same thing. It has not happened in earlier versions. I was going to blame the computer mouse but it seems fine.
