I agree!  I sometimes have rolled a starting colonist that I liked, but thought they had a stupid name.  I had to spend a lot of time thinking of a name that sounded appropriate for the game because I didn't want to lose their backstory/skills just to get a new name.

I agree on the colony naming too.  With the "Wanderer Joins" event, it can happen so suddenly that I'm not prepared to think of an appropriate name, and I rarely like the first one I see.

Just give me some dice to roll until I like the result!
