I'm tired of losing pawns to predators that SHOULD have had companions with them. This feature is almost broken. And only just taming and training? why not when the pawn is outside of a certain area they are considered doing field work?

I will agree with that one, even have the pawn attack the thing that attacks the pet as well I have lost countless pets to wolfs ect..

I also had an incident where a pawn was attacked by a wolf, with a tamed thumbo right beside him, but not trained or assigned a master. It just sat there and watched as he was torn to shreds. Maybe animals with advanced intelligence or predators automatically defend pawns that they see under attack and not drafted without training?
