Avoiding that dirt patch.....but seriously this is simply the way the AI Pathing works sometimes, its a very loose system simply because the more accurate it gets the more resource it eats. Theres a fair few posts here and on reddit about the same issue if you want to read more details, some of them Tynan has commented on personally.

Normally I would say doors, except it clearly has to go through a door to go outside...

My guess is a) weird mod interactions, or b) maybe it an anti-cabin fever method?

She goes left path, she needs to go through an open door, a fence (medieval times mod) and another closed door.

Right path goes straight to the kitchen. ;D
