Mortars cause raiders to pause their assault

I have had several large pirate sapper raids where a single colony mortar hit incapacitates or wounds one of the raiders to a crawl (not any of the sappers necessarily). They then proceed to hang around like they were preparing for a regular assault and allow me to land another mortar hit, restarting the pause in their assault. Eventually, I stockpiled 12 explosive mortars and 6 incendiary mortars that defend my base from raids without any micro as a lucky strike will pause their rush allowing the full bear of my colony's firepower to shred their forces. I'm assuming the sappers are not supposed to stop their assault just to find little timmy's missing torso wherever it flew off to in the heat of battle.

They stop because they think they need to defend themselves. However mortars is an interesting edge case. hmm

//edit: I think it's fine for now, it's not really a bug per se. Thanks for reporting though.
