[Cassandra Ex] My tribal finally make it this far...

After 6 years of struggle in Cassandra Extreme, 1 colonist and countless animal meat shield died. I finally about to build a spaceship  :D

The only problem is the Uranium. Why it is so hard to find that? I have always call for caravan every 3 days right now (bulk and exotic). none of them sell it at all  :-\.


I luckily tame 2 Thrumbos. Now they give me 1 mini Thrumbo. It's so lovely  ;D

Another wild Thrumbo is kept in the barn, still in process of brain washing  ::)

Congratulations. Looking really good. Congrats on the Thrumbo's I know how hard that can be.

Uranium is a kicker you can sometimes find lucky deposits at World Map events like Pirate Outpost and Precious Mineral deposits. Its actually the only reason I call in at the Precious Mineral deposits.

Do you think you will launch when the ship is done or hang around?  :) 8)
Mods I would recommend:
Mending, Fertile Fields, Smokeleaf Industries and the Giddy Up series.

Yea, if I count other colony that got wipe out by raid too. It should probably more than that  :P

Thank you. I have the precious Mineral scanner running in my base too. Every time I go to the spot, they're always gold vein  :-\
I'll build the ship and leave it around until Alpha 18 come out then launch it lol

Yep it will be a gold or jade or something stupid you don't really need. Look around at the hills in the area and make sure you strip mine to reveal all the internals. That's where you can find it and remember it look a hell of a lot like marble so look closely and good luck.

Tried that one too.... 14k useless chem fuel sit still in the stock, plasteel is the best one found thus far  :'(

I wish those caravan bring more silver with them. Only bulk good trader buy chem fuel. Their goods really useless to me too since I can produce them (I trade all chem fuel with their plasteel, neurotamine, steel and all their meat, never saw uranium on them).

Hey! I found more uranium on one of caravan raid event by accident. They were an ancient danger (With luckily empty) in the generate map. So I deconstruct the capsule and I got around 40 uranium. I need 140 more (just for engine and the reactor  :'( )

What are the numbers by the colonists' names for? Organizing them into squads or something?

It's just remind me of their role in battle and their uniform assign. It's easy to find who did what when raid coming too.

1 is Close range gunner, this is a default attire for the colonist
Head = Power armor helmet
Body = Button shirt + Pants + Armor vest + Duster
Belt = Smokepop belt
Weapon = Pump shotgun or Charged rifle

2 is Brawler
Head = Power armor helmet
Body = Button shirt + Pants + Armor vest + Duster
Belt = Shield belt
Weapon = Long sword

3 have everything the same as 1. But this group is a social person. So the head is cowboy hat for better social impact.
Head = Cowboy hat
Body = Button shirt + Pants + Armor vest + Duster
Belt = Smokepop belt
Weapon = Pump shotgun or Charged rifle

4 is a Social Brawler.
Head = Cowboy hat
Body = Button shirt + Pants + Armor vest + Duster
Belt = Shield belt
Weapon = Long sword

5 is special long range unit. The attire they wear is the same as 1. The weapon is especially long range.
Head = Power armor helmet
Body = Button shirt + Pants + Armor vest + Duster
Belt = Smokepop belt
Weapon = Assault rifle, Sniper rifle or Minigun

0 is useless pawn who don't fight. They wear attire like those brawler but no weapon.
Head = Power armor helmet
Body = Button shirt + Pants + Armor vest + Duster
Belt = Shield belt
Weapon = -

Recently, I just add the symbol * and - in front of their number to differentiate their day-night shift (* is day, - is night)

wow, you really made it far, but...
...personally, i wouldnt add so much order into this game. the randomness is part of it for me. sure, the more pawns you get and the larger your base gets and blahblah...still, i would much rather play this game suboptimally than like you...no offence

renaming your pawns and giving them numbers for battlefield role and day or night shifts is also sth that ruins the rpg aspect of this game. if i wanted to have a perfectly oiled machine as an economy i'd just play a different game, wouldnt you?

anyway, nice to see someone actually made it that far, congratz, but i'll take a different road from seeing this extreme of playing this game
