Injured Muffalo

Pretty much what it says on the tin.

Herders get NO animal skill. It boggles the mind. What were they herding? I mean I get that there are various other effects the skill is intended to represent - but clearly herders worked with animals extensively.

Farm oaf - a very good boost to growing and some mining. But even though the description mentions ox carts, no animal skill at all. IMO, animal skill comes before mining to a medieval farm oaf.

Maybe there are just so many other obvious animal related skills I haven't seen that they decided to put animal skill on a herder would be overkill.
A muffalo encountered a vimp near a patch of sweet vegetables. A struggle ensued. The muffalo gored the vimp with its horns. The vimp bit the muffalo with its beak. Finally, the vimp was bested, sending large chunks of its flesh in every direction. But the muffalo was injured. It shed a single tear.

Those Backstories were implemented long before the animal skill.

But yes it would have been a great Idea to upgrade those Backstories to fit the addition of this skill.

But that is what the Beta Phase will be about. Balancing and Fixing Inconsistencies.

Maxim 1   : Pillage, then burn
Maxim 37 : There is no overkill. There is only open fire and reload.
Rule 34 of Rimworld :There is a mod for that.
