Bodies upsetting colonists

There should be a mechanic introduced that lessens the impact of dead bodies on colonists.

Let me explain.

I was just playing a game that was going extremely well, recruited about 3 extra folks.  had everyone carrying out tasks efficiently a good amount of turrets and some nice long range guns.

my settlers managed to thwart every single attempt to raid the colony with ease up until the mortar event.

now i did have a mortar set up to fight back, but i figured since my lil' dudes had gotten so good at dishing out the pain i would send them in to take out the enemy nest before it can do any real harm. (the AI set up in a zone that provided a lot of cover in my favor)

so i send a fire team out, 2 snipers and 2 guys with small arms, and they manage to take out the raiders with relative ease, but then they ALL go insane from the shock of seeing 6 dead bodies along with being (lightly) injured.  so about 70% of my workforce went on a rampage and wrecked the faces off the other 30%

couldn't there be a mechanic that levels up like a jaded feature, so the more you shoot someone or see dead bodies the less it bothers you? maybe tie it into the shooting skill?  It just stands to reason that people who have been fighting off pirates and raiders for over a year would grow a little bit more accustomed to blood than the greenhorn colonist fresh out of the pod

It'd be nice to see, just like in dwarf fortress where people get used to things.

That said I think dead bodies lower mood way too much when they aren't rotted.
Killing has less of an impact.

It would be fairly easy to add this actually!  Have a base memory though called 'Emotional detachment' that causes +mood for half of the 'saw dead body' penalty and stacks the same number of times, that ought to do it without adding buffs where they're not balanced

I've seen this suggestion twice in five days! (http://ludeon.com/forums/index.php?topic=4782.0)
It definitely seems essential to game-play now.
