The idea is to add a few options for doors these options are.
1.Force open doors stay open allowing animals to pass through.
2.Open to enemy lets enemies use doors  o once your colonists are in place you can let them through no more broken doors.
3.Can be set to be one way for colonists, enemies or both.
4.May be overpowered releases 1000 electricity in a small explosion it won't destroy your enemies but it will hurt them.

I never use powered doors because i dont see a huge advantage to them and the powerless icon annoys me during flares, but there there was the option to set them to always open, like your suggestion 1, i would use them a lot exteriorly as they would be very useful for defensive positioning

I agree. Second to these ideas.

Battery Doors (siege doors) : would require colonist to manually close or open, would use alot of materials to create.
> allows player to keep open to allow passage of animals and raiders into a base without destroying door. closing door would set to lock. additional health may result in raiders attacking the wall rather then door :3

one way door would be like a cattle gate (drafting stock) right? (may require a shit load of coding)
Yes another god damn youtuber.

there's an exploit to keep the doors opened by placing a stockpile on it, and then hauling a single item to prop the door open.

the problem is that some enemies still end up attacking the door anyways, even though the rest of them just ignores it and pass through.
