First up, just to check, this is the official wiki right? (http://rimworldwiki.com)

I'd like to help give add depth on one or two pages but I feel like I should tell somebody before I go and change something.

I was wondering the same thing. Is anyone allowed to edit it? I noticed that a lot of the pages have very minimal content and there wasn't even a page for some things in the game. I was going to edit the wiki and add some more information as well.

Think it's fine to edit on it, just make sure you do it with a logged in account and try not to mess with the table designs

Ok so I tried to make an account but I got this error:

"You do not have permission to create this user account, for the following reason:
The action you have requested is limited to users in the group: Administrators."

Yeah, account creation is currently disabled until I find a better way to stop spam accounts from logging in. I was hoping to wait until after Xmas to get on that, but I guess if there's a demand I'll get working on it now.

Edit:

Account registration is open again now. You'll have to answer captchas for the first 15 edits (sorry!), but you're captcha-free after that point.
(also of course you're free to edit/update/add new pages to the wiki, it's all community done)

Yes I'm sorry it was locked for a while because I couldn't find a good anti-spam solution.

Sorry to report but I'm having trouble with the account stuff

The way I thought I had found a sign up page was:
Login (top left)> Forgot password* > Put in something random so it says:

There is no user by the name "sw4g". Usernames are case sensitive. Check your spelling, or create a new account.

So I click create account but I got the same error I posted about before

I see in the url it says "Special:UserLogin/signup", I even tried getting rid of "Special" and replacing with "User" or "Normal".
That didn't work either

*No sign of any kind of sign up button on this page

Sorry, corrected that. Not sure what happened, but account creation is totally there now.
