I actually saw one just like that in an older save. Never even thought of that being too big to support the mountain on top of it lol.

If you're on Windows, look in C:/Users/(your-user-name)/AppData/LocalLow/Ludeon/ and check the world and saves folders inside.  FYI, AppData is typically a hidden folder (more sorcery!).

Or while ingame go to options and click 'open save data folder' <- I found that to be the easiest/fastest/most convenient way to find them ;D

You'll probably need to turn them into a Zip aswell to get them to fit on the forums.

Oh okay, thanks! I'll see about doing that. I use quite a few mods though. Does that effect anything?

Coenmcj

Usually yes, but I don't think there's anything out currently that should affect the way the cryptosleep shrines are generated.

If you could provide a list of mods with the save/world files that would be great. :)

Here it is. Sorry for the delay!

The room is pretty easy to spot. It's now the home of my power network outfitted with a crap ton of RTGs.

Cheers!

Edit ; Tried the world seed and debug co-ords on vanilla to try and reproduce this and I can't find the room with FoW turned off, looks like one of your mods has done this, ah well.

Really? Huh, how weird. Wonder which one. Haha thanks for looking into it!

No problem at all, Just hope this strange sorcery can re-emerge in a vanilla world so it can be properly sorted it. (Or not would be better?)

The generation of ruins is random i believe a seed will not guatantee placement, same as geos. Youll need to upload the world and save for people to see it.
Skullywag modded to death.
I'd never met an iterator I liked....until Zhentar saved me.
Why Unity5, WHY do you forsake me?

This.

I had a good starting location once and tried replicating it for a fresh go. I took me several attempts to get the exact same locations for the ruins and geos. It did seem though that maybe 3 or 4 ruins/geo configurations kept repeating (in no set order), so it wasn't totally random each new try. This was ultra modded though, including being an icesheet start, so there's that again.

EDIT: Got intrigued by this and found 21x16 ruins in vanilla (times two). The lower one can be closed off completely by applying "no roof" then "roof". Files attached if anyone is curious.

Well it's uploaded in that zip-file along with the world file and the mod list if anyone wants to take a peek.
