How to get steel when their is non?

This is great to hear, I normally pick mountains terrain just to get more iron! But with the inclusion of insect spawn, deep mining is no longer safe to mine too deep!

Terrain-wise, I'm pretty certain that the landing site has nothing to do with how much steel, components, silver, etc there is to mine.  It only affects how *much* Rock is present.  Unless this was just changed for A14.

I would love to see this feature Tynan. I hope its something like you can send your colonists on a mining mission! That would be awesome! Or or! Maybe you can dig a tunnel and do deep core mining!! Hope that knocks your socks off :D!
