Camping trips are a nightmare!

I can send several completely stable pawns with plenty of food, bedrolls out on a one day round trip to mine the local spot and it always devolves into a fuckfest of mental breaks and biting eachothers eyes from their sockets (which I still struggle to picture happening from anything but a zombie with intact cheeks for suction). I mean they're camping for god's sake it should be a happy occasion not a Rob Zombie filmed 'cheaper by the dozen 2 : roadtrip' slap stick comedy of tantrums and failed corpse upheavals. Anyways, I don't think it would make the game too easy to add a little quality of life mood boost for trips. Story-wise, a vacation from being cooped in with the compound boys for years on end would be something to look forward to, not to plan your next murder, suicide OR exotic human cuisine taste test. Thanks.

Some minor thoughts on this. To haul a full wooden table and chair just to not get the debuff is a bit much, but will start doing it. Also being 6 stacked in a makeshift firetrap together is fun. Live a little, have some boyhood adventure in your hearts.

Pawns get a bonus on caravans, from having a table and chairs? :O

I'm guessing it's more like not having the "Ate without a table" debuff.

Well then, that's one more thing I need to manage / remember, when I'm sending off caravans. Food, sleeping bags, table, chair, plus all the stuff I actually want to trade / take to a quest. On top of that, caravans go crazy from not having joy items. Caravans need some love. ^^;

Weird, I send caravans out all the time (sometimes more than one) for days on end and the only time I have trouble is when the pawns would probably have had trouble at home anyway. I never bring anything but food, medicine, sleeping bags and whatever items I need for the quest or trade run.

I get more breaks during unloading because they're tired and hungry but prioritize unloading to eating or resting, than I ever do on the caravans themselves.

I have never used remote mining so I can't speak on that in particular.

I never got how pawns in the game could have such insanely bad reactions to such mundane things.
Then I came to the forums.

Simple idea: +10 New caravan hope. It lasts a few days on the road after forming a caravan so you can manage short trips without everyone going completely insane. If the trip lasts longer than that you're on your own.

After they return they might have a cooldown before they're ready for another caravan. But that's not really needed.
