Some items in the same room are powered, yet others arent

Hi.
I have a problem where some items in the same room are powered but others are not. They are all placed right next to a wooden wall so they should be well within range of the conduits inside the walls. To use one of the rooms as an example: I cannot use the comms console because the game says "cannot use (no power)" and the powered door in the same room doesnt have power, yet lights, stove and butcher table all work just fine (and all of them are in the same room)... Does anyone know how to sort this problem out?

You might not have enough power. Try turning some stuff off and see if the comms console works then.

I tried building a solar power plant just to check if it could be that simple of a solution- and it was! Thanks. I thought the geothermal plant produced alot more than it did i guess hehe.

You can see if you have enough power by checking the 'consumed power' value. If it is positiv, you have excess power in the power net. If it's negativ, you consume more power than you currently can provide.
