Hey Guys,

Just a thought about combat. I thought it would be cool if pawns had some abilities like "Throw Grenade". in which you can designate where that pawn would throw a grenade.

These abilities could have cool downs or require an item in their inventory that relates to the ability.
There could also be an option to swap them from Ranged to Melee .

What do you guys think? what other abilities would you like to see?

Well, regular and EMP grenades already exist in the game and you can already designate where to throw them.  What you're suggesting sounds like what's already in the game, besides the carrying of two weapons.  Combat specialized traits like a speed boost when drafted or an Ironman (no flinching upon getting hit) trait would seem more combat abilities rather than have to rely on items as 'abilities'.

Maybe abilities could be based on what a colonist can do best ( or very good)
eg: a good doctor can heal a critical wound or stop blood loss, a good melee with a ranged weapon could do a great slam with his weapon to near enemys, a very social one could motivate other colonists and reduce their brakelevel.
every ability with a long cooldown, so each battle it can be used once.

Note that these suggestions go far away from the current state of the game, wich first needs the basics done before adding such things.

Its really weird to hear of a colony that isn't run like Auschwitz and selling human leather for a living.

Really the only thing I'd want is the ability of colonists to hold multiple items.
You can already designate melee, nades, ETC. just not hold all the items to do all of this.
