Great Even in Alpha

I know RimWorld is just in alpha, and I can't wait until the final build. I'm not much of a modder myself so I'm thankful for this community.

However the one thing that gets me about this game, unlike many others, is that it is completely playable in alpha. Even in 6, which is when I first started, it was still a great. The modding community here is great and always coming up with some excellent things that make this game even better. The fact the devs support this makes this game even better.

In today's world, where so many games are being hit upon for their lack of features, or their incomplete status, or their misleading "betas" and "alphas" this game is completely playable in alpha and when the final release comes, I can only wait until then.

I'm just seeing who else agrees with this and who else is happy with how things are? Not saying I'm looking forward to more, and better, I'm just saying that this game is playable now and is just getting better.

Rimworld, along with Kerbal Space Program, is one of those few gems in the rough of Early Access that shows how it should be done. Tynan's done a great job thus far; long may it continue.

My first post here! I was about to come on here and post something similar. I've also been very surprised at the quality of this Alpha! Just the fact that it runs smooth on my computer and has not crashed EVEN ONCE (knock on wood) is a testament to it's quality.

I've only been playing for less than a week, and I'm addicted. There are a few things that slightly annoy me (topics for another thread) but nothing that diminishes my enjoyment of the game. Things work well and there are lots of features. The fact that more is being added all the time is very encouraging to me.

Best of luck to the devs in keeping up the awesome work!

While I definately agree its great so far it is definately still an Alpha due to lack of endgame and some other cotent sorely needed. Just thought I would "be that guy" lol. So far so good though and I am glad the ea is going smooth so far I just hope he never jumps the gun on release like ksp is doing by skipping beta and some other ea games due to good feedback.

Hell the game almost feels like a full game already to me. Especially with the ability to add mods to your game in the early stage of building, I can see this becoming a classic that will live long into the Pantheon of gaming.

May Tynan live a long and healthy life, improving RimWorld forever and ever! :)

Just wanted to throw my support that the game is amazing already. I've stated a few times that I think Tynan could fairly wrap up development very soon, publish 1.0, and be down with - because even today it is great value for money.

That said, I'm also really looking forward to whatever else Tynan (and the modding community) have to add to this already very polished gem.

Thank you very much :) I appreciate the props.
