while tynan has ALL versions including ones never released, I DO have v250,v254,v254b, alpha1, alpha2 alpha3,alpha3b,alpha3c,alpha3d,alpha3e,alpha3f, alpha4,alpha4a,alpha4c,alpha4d,alpha4e,alpha4f, alpha5,alpha5c,alpha5d, alpha6, alpha7,alpha7b,alpha7c, alpha8, alpha8b,alpha8c,alpha8e,alpha8f, alpha9,alpha9b,alpha9c,alpha9d,alpha9e, alpha10,alpha10b,alpha10c,alpha10d,alpha10f.
and I have both linux AND windows versions for all listed ones

I used to have the latest version of each alpha plus some internat testing ones, but eventually deleted them to make space on my hard drive. Instant regret :(

Well if you owned the game, I'm not sure it would technically be pirating to torrent an older version of it. Certainly I'd have no problem with that. Your license for the game gives you license to all versions until it's released; no reason that doesn't include previous versions as well.

It sounds like that'd fall under the same legal kerfuffle that is the use of emulators.

If you've got a legit copy of the game brought, then AFAIK it's perfectly legal to use an emulator with that particular ROM. Do it for a game you don't have? It be piracy. Very sketchy law, lol.

Yeah. My point was about how people could easily pirate it too, if a release was released for people who did purchase it.
