Max Resolution

Hi guys

Until yesterday I was playing this game on a 1920x1080 monitor just fine. My 2560x1440 monitor arrived this morning, I started the game, went into options to change resolutions and my game crashed. Can Rimworld be played at 1440p?

Pretty sure it can, but I'm unsure that 1920x1080 is available with your current monitor, and as such, is what might be causing the crash.

I Ran into the problem when I switched over to my 1920x1080 from a 1360x768
check both monitors for a common resolution, then switch rimworld to the common resolution (1024x768 usually?) on the first monitor then switch to your second and switch to the 2560x1440.

A bit fiddly, but hopefully should work for you. Good luck!

I can play in 1080 on my 1440 monitor, it only crashes when I try to change then resolution to 1440... I will try to resolve my problem using your method, if I understand it correctly lol..

Hi, I've tried to do it using your method but I'm not sure I understood exactly what you're saying... It didn't work anyway, any chance you could explain it in layman's term? You are speaking to an old man here

Ah ok, I'm sorry. I misunderstood.
Not quite sure why it's not working on your 2560x1440 then.
