It *may* sound racist, but i'm curious how much i would need to pay for a wallet from non-white human skin, like seriously, even in Rimworld human skin is only white ;d
I'm not entirely sure about this, but isn't skin colour only, um, skin-deep? Like, just below the very outer layer of skin all human look exactly the same?

Adamiks

Hmm..... I don't think so. Under our skin (but skin have layers, though, but we call all of them just "skin") there is only a meat, i think.

Well if we are going into this, technically (from a Highschoolers perspective.) everything is the same on the molecular level. The only difference is the pigment inside each cell. but other than that, yes we are all the same.

Only pigment? I though black people have skin better for heat (black color is black, because "consume" light = heat) etc. so i think that there are differences even in molecular level.

What I meant, is that the pigment, or what ever controls the pigment on a molecular bases is the difference. I also stated that this is from my Extremely limited knowledge on cells and molecules and what not.

We're getting way off topic here, I think. We started with a discussion of human leather being more expensive than Devilstrand, and ended up with a discussion of skin pigments.

Let's return to the actual question here, what about my wallet?
I like how this game can result in quotes that would be quite unnerving when said in public, out of context. - Myself

The dubious quotes list is now public. See it here

Mr.Cross

Lol, I was thinking the same thing. All I know it's going to put a large dent into you monetary income to acquire something like that.

It wouldn't matter. The process of preserving and tanning the leather destroys most of the finer natural tones of the hide. That's why cow-leather products are just brown, and not cow-printed.

Mr.Cross

Oh, I didn't think of that *Facepalms*

Oh, didn't think about that, because i didn't saw any leather that i'm 100% sure isn't colored, and that human leather have color almost like a normal human skin.
