Haven't played the latest alphas so I dunno if it is still as big of a problem as it was before or if it's even worse. But unless it's completely out of hand (which is probably not the case), you should stay away from that mending mod.

The mending mod just breaks the game. Not only you will stop having to buy a lot of stuff, raids will also be worth several times more silver, so it basically works out as a infinite silver cheat.
