I made a multi-layered building, 12 layers or so, each layer, excluding the center, was 1 block thick, full of heaters. At the center was a 1-man room, with 150 packaged survival meals in it, a bed, and 12 heaters, it was absolutely full. I almost survived, till a short blew a hole in my wall

Anyhow nice mods so far m8, the cold one is brutal.

So the cold is brutal... but the heat isn't... NOOOOOOO!Must make more brutal!

Sometime dis 2 weeks either V4 comes out, or ZE MODDERS fraction mod comes out... we'll see :)

Life has gotten in my way... not sure if I can release anything for the month or so... sorry. :-[
I'l still be skimming thro the fourms but my time is limited, If anything comes out this month it will be a simple thing which covers the option for cheating debugging.

Go to : Mods\YO HEARD YA LIKE ZE COLD\Defs\IncidentDefs\Incidents_DEATH.xml

Change:
Code: [Select]

      <max>28</max>
    </durationDays>
And:
Code: [Select]
    <durationDays>
      <min>240</min>
      <max>480</max>
    </durationDays>
To This:
Code: [Select]
    <durationDays>
      <min>999</min>
      <max>999</max>
    </durationDays>
And This:
Code: [Select]
    <durationDays>
      <min>9999</min>
      <max>9999</max>
    </durationDays>

Also change thier descriptions respectively.

Actually, no. I'm at 130 degrees indoors with about 15 industrial coolers. Why is it not bringing it down???

My colony died since the inside went to 300 degrees. I think the game bugged out when there was two deathly situations. Everyone died. My 20 coolers didn't do anything, and the outside temp was over 1000

Coolers work by pushing the heat out of room A to B. If room B is hotter than X they stop pushing heat, this is to stop coolers from heating a room to 2 googablion degrees. If room B is outside and outside is hotter than X they won't push out more heat.

Thats why you need multiple layers of 2 thick wall.
