How do I translate 'Dendrovrous'?

Hi Tynan, I am having trouble working out how I am supposed to translate 'Dendrovourous' into Russian. While, as far as I know, It isn't a real word so cannot really be translated accurately, it seems pretty silly for a Russian person to have a couple of their words (like cryptosleep) in English. Any feedback?

Why not literally translate it as "Древоядные"? It makes just as much sense as dendrovorous and people will understand it.
