Location selecting map wont load any images. MAC

I have just downloaded rimworld onto my girlfriends mac, i play it all the time on my pc without any issues, but since trying the game on the mac i have encountered a bug that prevents the map that shows terrian, biomes, rainfall, and locations from appearing on my screen. i am able to still create maps, select sites, and start new worlds, but i am unable to see any information about the locations i am choosing.

can anyone help me with this issue please?

I've had a similar issue on Windows with the map not showing, but only if I start a couple of new colonies in a row. Restarting the game (application) usually fixes this issue.

unfortunately restarting the game has no effect, i have tried it multiple times, and i have even tried re-installing but the issue still persists :-(

Happens to me too. I have yet find a way to make it show at all.

Can you provide two things to help us?

1. Your specs.

2. A screenshot of the issue.

It seems that there are problems with the world map on macs for some reason. Maybe it's because of the minimum required texture resolution? Maybe your video card is running out of memory?
