doing something with a bad skill should cause accidents.

like by operations but it harms the pawn self.

e.g.:
cooking -> chance to burning themself / cause a fire
mining -> chance to injure the hands, foots or legs
tailoring -> chance for cuts
hunting -> chance to shot them self
hauling -> chance to twist one's ankle
buthering -> chance for cuts in the hands
building -> chance to injure the hands, foots or legs
...

I like the idea, though I'm not sure we need to simulate someone gettting a boo-boo from a stitching needle. But yeah, building, butchering, hard manual labor jobs in general can be dangerous if you don't have any idea what you're doing or how to do it safely.

Stuff like twisted ankle, minor foot/hand injury in particular would be cool, injury in this game often means bedridden for days. Less severe but more frequent wounds (perhaps not requiring medical care or with very low chance of infection) would flesh things out a little without putting lots of extra strain on the colony.

I like it.  I really, really like it!  Especially cultist's idea for crossing 'dangerous terrain'.  It makes pathways and stockpiles more important and clearing rubble.  Everything can have a modifier.  So if we consider as percentage of injury moving through a square would start with obstacles.  Random numbers from top of head.  Have it work similar to setting off a trap if possible.

So say objects are a .05%  Furniture and grass a .1% and stuff like rubble and trees a .2%
Next I would go with terrain.  Rough stone floor say adds a .05% to any tile, same with dirt, etc.

Lastly, modifiers.  Darkness and bad weather can each be a 2x multiplier.  This means if a person is walking through some rough floored pile of rubble outside at night in a rainstorm, there is a 1% chance per square that could hurt themself!  Suddenly ensuring you keep pathways and walk areas clear is much more important than just for some speed.

true that part is unnecessary since the whole "animal revenge" kinda offend makes the hunter wounded anyway :)
