Fences and Kidnappings

I was just thinking perhaps the game could use the addition of fences, for instance if I want to enclose an area of crops without having to build walls and use the remove roof brush, metal fences are just a slightly stronger/sturdier version, with electric fences requiring power and causing damage to melee attacks against it with power usage directly dependent on how many are being used.

I think it would be interesting as well if raiders sometimes had objective when assaulting your base. Not just destroy what they can unless they decide to flee due to heavy losses. Perhaps they are compelled to never stop attacking, or they specifically want to down a member of your colony and take them away. ( Maybe they ransom them back at some point?
