What skill affects removing a roof?

I set up my power area and did the "remove roof" set up before I even began construction in the area.  Still after walling it in, they roofed it anyway.  Now I've been without power for five days and had idle pawns but nobody will go deconstruct the roof.  I have gone and reset the "remove roof" zone option.  I wonder what skill affects "deconstruction" so I can maybe manually ramp that up.  I've even tried to manually force a pawn to remove but that isn't an option.

Yes, it is outdoors so not dealing with a mountain roof.

I'm guessing no skill. Like plant cutting, it's constant.
Otherwise it has to be construction.

No not that I know of. Its like plant cutting.

Maybe you need to also remove the Build Roof area (should be an orange overlay).

Roof removal is a child job of construction. But its priority is set lower than other construction jobs, which means constructors won't build/remove roofs if they have other jobs queued. Try removing all unfininshed construction jobs and see if it helps. Or assign more constructors.

Also, plant cutting seems to be tied to growing now. Godlike growers will harvest and cut trees really fast.

Already done, I did that before I even constructed the zone.
