homosexual couples can't "get some lovin"?

I just noticed this, since I got 2 married couples and a lesbian in my colony. One of the captured raiders was a lesbian too and after a while the two become lovers.
I noticed they NEVER get "got some loving" while in the bed together....

Use devmode and mouse over the spouse in the social tab, it should show compatibility and attraction. I think attraction is responsible for lovin', if the attraction is low there wont be much happening.

Also they have to have a shared bed, the prisoner and colonist kindof thing prevents them from having a shared bed to get it on in.

Can a colonist and an enemy prisoner become lovers?

I don't think that would stop them from being lovers, just give them the mood debuff about not being able to sleep together. Pretty sure i read something like this in the story section.. then again they could have been making it up.

He stated they were in bed together .. right in his post .. so I assume the raider allready joined the colony and only then started a relationship with the colonist.
I never had a Prisoner/Colonist relationship.
But I had Prisoners start one

So the only thing should be the oppinion of each other that could keep them from 'lovin.

Trashman, do you have per any chance the Bee's and Flowers Mod from Fluffy installed ?

As I said, attraction is a main factor, but thats a hidden stat which is only visible with dev mode. I just tested it and gay lovin' does work, I guess your guys arent just that sexually interested in each other.

In alpha 14 I had a colony with three straight couples, one were nudist who had every evening some lovin, one couple had every some days and the last never, but she hated him really bad because he killed her mother who came to raid the colony so...

I can confirm that gay couples do get the got some loving buff from time to time too. It doesn't happen every time they sleep together though.

Fun detail: it seems that all pawns are bi-sexual with just a personal preference for gay or straight in regards to who they pursue. A straight person can end up accepting the advance of a gay person for example, and probably also true visa versa.
