Raiders take over base after losing.

Say you build a great base. Now suddenly a large raider wave comes and wipes out your colonist.
This has happened time and time again. Bye bye base :c
Well I think we should have an option to allow a raider group to come after you lose and take over what's left of your base. This would allow us to have our base still and would be cool to see how the next group survives.
Anyone agree?

It doesn't really matter what reason you pick, there are many possibilities for their staying.

Perhaps they might want to sleep a few nights in comfortable beds, indoors. Depending on the colony, with food and heating/lights. Who would not need a little R&R after an assault/raid.

I don't see why it couldn't be either. As Thunder stated, they may just want a nice place to sleep instead of roughing it. I guess it would require the raiders to have a goal rather than just rocking up and fucking up as much shit as possible, but that shouldn't be too much of an issue. There's another thread kicking about where these things are suggested.

like the sound of that and i was thinking... if they take your base they won't 'farm' etc but just use things as they are (bed, meals etc.) and you would have take back your base so you kinda switch places only they don't heal or something so they would (after some time) die anyway...

you can't die... remember your not a person from the colony your 'overviewing'.
second those raiders also come out of nowhere so why can't any of your ppl get back to it...
And for the story-line it could go from
* you crashed there and wanna get back but must survive fist (what's the story now).

I understand if it's to hard to see it... it's not that in real life wars are still going for resources (diamonds, oil, gold,...)... Oooh wait... little secret... this really happens...

what sense is there in 'watching' a game where you can't do anything...? that's called video...

you can say that... i'm from belgium so dutch is my main lang. at school i never had english lessons i learned from movies... (nice te refer to movies again) and games... you know those where you can do something :p sorry just messing.
