Q: Automated / AI Rimworld Play - Rimworld in "Aquarium" Mode

Hello fellow rimworld players, modders, developer,

I have some questions regarding modifications of the game that essentially makes it play itself. Once in a while I find myself only watching the colony and feel disturbed by events that I must handle and somehow wished for an "entity" that does it for me, following a general plan (e.g. "fastest rush to space ship", "Basic need starter base", "unameit") that I've specified beforehand. Something like the Colony Manager Mod, but for every aspect of the game.

1. Has it been attempted? Conclusion of attempts?
2. Are there general (modding) contraints regarding automating gameplay in Rimworld? (Is this topic a "NoNo"?)
3. Does someone work on such or a related automation topic and needs a (C#) hand?

Honestly this would interest me as well. I'd like to play a more hands-off god and see just how a colony would react in a given scenario without any input from me. It would be fascinating!
