Production and Application of Jewellery:

Jewellery Bench
A bench at which a crafter can make Jewellery. Jewellery comes in 3 forms:
-Necklace
-Ring
-Wristwear

Necklace:
40 Gold + 15 Quartz/Diamond/Topaz
Normal Quality Quartz Necklace = 230 Silver
Normal Quality Diamond Necklace = 400 Silver
Normal Quality Topaz Necklace = 275 Silver

Worn either forced, scheduled or free-will. A necklace gives a mood boost (depending on the quality) 'Wearing expensive jewellery. +7'

Ring:
20 Gold + 5 Quartz/Diamond/Topaz
Normal Quality Quartz Ring  = 160 Silver
Normal Quality Diamond Ring = 250 Silver
Normal Quality Topaz Ring = 180 Silver

Worn either forced, scheduled or free-will. A ring also gives a mood boost, but proportionately less than a necklace given the size and value. (+4 Maybe?)

Wristwear:
5 Cloth, 5 Gold and 5 Quartz/Diamond/Topaz
Normal Quality Quartz Wristwear = 180 Silver
Normal Quality Diamond Wristwear = 340 Silver
Normal Quality Topaz Wristwear = 210 Silver

Worn forced, scheduled or free-will. Gives a mood boost (proportionate to quality) of +9

The production of Jewellery would be a research option, in the range of 600-800 RP.

This could be improved on quite a bit. I may or may not add more, but please suggest additional resources and jewellery and I will do my best to include them. Thanks for reading!
Only in RimWorld is the phrase "31 Heavily-Armed Siegers are currently bombing your base" preferable to "50 manhunting squirrels are attacking your colony"

I like the idea of having jewelry, though I feel like late game, boosting moods is easy enough... I feel like the moods should progressively get worse for 2-3 in game years. As soon as you get the orbital trader you run into pain stoppers and joywires which make keeping moods in check pretty easy.

I guess I will rephrase, I like it as long as the economic side of RimWorld is improved upon and more necessary to succeed. I like the idea of expanding the number of resources you can use for things, having resources only under ground you find with the scanner etc.

I would like to see a need to have 50k or 100k silver, to give playing files a really long time a bit of purpose. Jewelry could definitely play a part of that objective as a sellable item.
