Firstly, I want to say that I love this game, the content is so rich, but one thing i can never understand is why the people does not need to drink, pee, or take shower? it just make no sense to me at all!!!!!!!!! I think the setting of people drinking water would be the fundmental concept, if it is a survial game. Why not adding feature such as tolet and tub, people get happy if they can take a hot bath. Cheers.

Answer:
I believe Tynan will reach water some time in the future. Game is incomplete and keeps being upgraded with very fundamental stuff. Last a16 update contained globe and travel.

You can see the past timeline via Tynan's channel to get an idea of progression rate:

sanitation does exist. Though I'm not sure exactly what its effects are (does a sanitary hospital perform better than a dirty one?).

Also it's abstracted in a way in cooking. Supposedly a bad cook has bad kitchen habits and your pawns get sick A LOT if he's doing the cooking which is a nice touch.

Regarding water, yeah, there's 3 topics on that alone on the first page so... I'm the opposite of forum nazi but seriously, not even looking at the FRONT PAGE? dude

I know that any medical action has a better percentage in a clean room than in a dirty one.
About the others idea, I don't know.
I will never do worse than what I do now.
It's what self-improvement means.

Water supply does seem like an omission in a survival game, and bathing sounds good too.

But giving Rimworlders (players and pawns) the ability to throw poop around seems like a bad idea  ::)

A need for water and to use the bathroom are both idea that I support.

I'm fairly certain that by sanitation he means toilets and "night soil" not general cleaning.
