Two people, 1 spaceship, no recruits and a long, long journey...

So here's something a little different. It's a slightly modified Rich Explorer start with two people and a special rule not to recruit anyone and have all wanderer and refugee events turned off. The goal? Get off this rock. The planet's fully generated though, so it's a long, long way to the spaceship...

We get caught in a brief firefight. Princess takes two in the chest, but seems okay. Thorton patches her up, and doesn't leave a scar.

We pick up a pet fox, because they're efficient (but mostly because they're cute and I don't notice the super awesome cool timber wolf we could have got instead). Also, the squirrels turn on us...

Winter arrives, and we settle in for our first - but probably not our last - winter on this backwater rim world.

We trade for some armour and get a pair of decent armour vests. It's probably not going to help all that much if we get shot, but I feel better that we're at least trying. XD

We perform emergency battlefield surgery involving suturing up a leg, sewing a stick into the hole where the leg used to be, and watching a massive fire slowly encroach on our operating theatre...
