Seed and Coordinates?

I did a search, but couldn't find the answer. Is there a way to get the seed and coordinates for a game you've already started playing? Is it recorded in the game save file somewhere, for instance?

Yes, in your game click on the world tab. In the bottom left corner you'll see a box that states the terrain type your colony is situated as well as the coordinates. Click on the 'Planet' button in that box and it will tell you the seed.

What if your game crashed, though? Is there a way to get the info from the save file?
