Hi all. Glad to be here :))

-What introduced you to RimWorld? Or to this style of game in general?
I have become disenchanted with gaming recently, which is sad considering how much money I spent on my PC LOL!
I was scrolling through Twitch streams and saw this game and instantly knew I stumbled upon something special.

-What's your favorite other game? Cyberpunk 2077 Is a work of art in my humble opinion. Took awhile for it to come into its own but it has vastly improved.

-Most embarrassing gaming-related story? Hhhhmmmmm. Oh yeah! I was on a 10-12 hour raid in Destiny with my friends. I got so tired that I literally passed out while playing. I woke up to my mates screaming in my ear. We wasted about 10 hours just to lose it all because I dozed off.

-What kind of breakfast cereal is the best? Cinnamon Toast CRUNCH baby!!

Super glad to be here. So far I've had really good experiences with the people in this community (Discord). I do have QUESTIONS however! Maaaaany questions LOL

Hi, I'm an ordinary pop star. Thanks for joining your colony and saving me from the claws of that nasty pirate gang.

First I saw RimWorld on Youtube/Twitch stream series where I got lucky enough to get pawn named after me. After disastrous life in colony that only the RimWorld can show my pawn managed to reach the stars in spaceship. The game got me and so far is the only game I bought not on sale (atleast what I remember). While watching these series I also met with my loved friend. In another run she got also pawn nicknamed but after one of the raids she got injured and later died on bloodloss. Frankly during next stream I got notified that she had fatal car accident. The real life can be as real as RimWorld is it seems. The name in game access I bought earlier I dedicated to her. She will live forever in our colonies (as long as her name is not overriden). <3

My other favorite game is definitely Path of Exile where I spent the most time and chill out these days. But in general I love every building strategy game. Whether it is city, factory or the very own country. The more refined and complex production chains the better.

And I don't eat cereal breakfast, I love meat! Boomalope's is the best. Such energizing taste.

I work as programmer and `girl for everything` IT related in ecommerce company. In free time I play games and tries to level up my programming skills. Also contribute to Czech translation of RimWorld.

See you in the poor world of outer space.

Greetings fellow RimWorlders!

I am burin077; I am pretty infrequent on the Discord, but I am quite an avid fan of RimWorld.

I have both a love/hate relationship with the game; love the game for all the versatility it has, and the hate for the way sometimes my stories end up because some random ArchoTech decided it was funny to drop a meteor on my power station.

I am an enthusiastic storyteller, mostly with medieval fantasy, however RimWorld allows me to expand upon that narrow genre by pushing into Sci-Fi and MagiTech concepts. I am looking forward to chatting with people here on the forum now that I've found it!

A few of the starter questions!

-What introduced you to RimWorld? Or to this style of game in general?
A: I was originally playing Outpost 2, an old Sci-Fi City Builder/Survival Game, and through a revival project some people introduced me to, they recommended I try out RimWorld. I got sucked in and go through phases now...so I'm not quite as addicted as a pawn on Psychite, but it's pretty compelling!

-What's your favorite other game?
A: The Disgaea series; it's a turn-based RPG similar to Final Fantasy Tactics, but with some crazy levels/numbers. Its most recent iteration (Disgaea 7: Vows of Virtueless) has become a quick favorite compared to many of the other releases, though some of the original artwork I would like to see brought back to the game's forefront.

-Most embarrassing gaming-related story?
A: Back in the days of the Playstation 1, I made the mistake of giving up way too easily at game progression; I was playing Breath of Fire III and had gotten to a point in McNeil Manor where I felt I couldn't pass no matter what I tried; turns out the entire time (Which took me 2 months to figure out; I was like 12 at the time) the only reason I couldn't proceed was because I had not turned the camera to see a separate pathway I could take to get past the point I got stuck in. I could have gone around the problem area the entire time and didn't know about it!

-What kind of breakfast cereal is the best?
A: Peanut Butter Crunch, Waffle Crisp, or Cinnamon Toast Crunch!

Hope to see and chat with a bunch of you across the Rim!

-What introduced you to RimWorld? Or to this style of game in general?
The first game i played that was similar in style was clanfolk the early release on steam. I read some of the clanfolk reviews, and so many people said it was similar to rimworld, so when I finished clanfolk I decided to try Rimworld out!
-What's your favorite other game?
Probably farming sims like Harvest Moon and Stardew Valley.
-What kind of breakfast cereal is the best?
Krave chocolate cereal!
