So I had rimworld in the background, and out of nowhere, one of my pregnant muffalos gave birth. Not once, like always, but many, many times. At least it told me so, but I couldn't see any new muffalos popping out up. I captured what happened in the game with a video. (edit: I have no mods) http://webm.land/media/qZR2.webm

That and the performance fix of 17b, for my game at least, didn't help. Before I could run x3 speed fine, now it lags a lot. I'm rather late game, with 17 colonists and a ton of animals.

Same problem here, one of my alpacas is giving birth 20 times per second .. but there's no baby alpaca, and mom is still in the late stage of pregnancy.
I'll let it run for a while to see what happens.

Edit: The update to 0.17.1557 had disabled my mods.
After re-enabling the mods, my alpaca gave birth to a healthy baby. :)

For me, this bug is triggered when I load a game without the "EdB Prepare Carefully" mod, with which the game was saved.
All my other mods can be turned off without causing a problem.

@ rena136 - Can you please post your log file (as an attachment, you might need to zip it if it's too large to attach) from when this issue is occurring. Details on where to find your log file can be found in the following thread https://ludeon.com/forums/index.php?topic=513.0

Did this get fixed?  My alpacas are doing this and the only way to stop it is to kill them...

Are any of you running the Children & Pregnancy mod? (I think I see some kids in the colonist bar in the OP's screenshot.)

Now this is happening with my alpacas AND muffalos.
