I my self like NightCore and NightStep(of course if they are made good ;))
Linus Torvalds: "But it clearly is the only right way. The fact that everybody else does it some other way only means that they are wrong"
Robert J. Hanlon: "Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity."

Pretty much everything, so long as it's not country, Rap or overusing Autotune.

I don't like rap or hard(er) versions of rock. I'm pretty fond of lyricless osts, beyond that. It can be electronic, orchestral, or whatever else so long as it doesn't venture too far into the hard rock region.

AlyxMS

I never really listen to a particular kind of music.
My entire music collection is from music I heard from videos, radio and games.

ALL THE MUSICS

But seriously, I like soundtrack instrumental music, not much of a lyrical person myself.

While the actual movie was meh, the music for Oblivion was really good.

And the soundtrack for AC2 still gives me chills. ;)

I love the mindset of gamers. Given a new feature to help keep our people alive and make the game more realistic, the first thing we think of is a way to kill people with it

MuscularTeeth

I too prefer instrumental music, but Civ V (and Christopher Tin) changed my view with lyrical music. Have you even heard of Baba Yetu? Or in fact the rest of Tin's album. His latest one, The Drop that Contained The Sea even debuted at #1 Billboard's Classical Albums.
I like how this game can result in quotes that would be quite unnerving when said in public, out of context. - Myself

Anything with bass enough that I can physically feel it through the air. However, I also quite like songs with good piano solos; largely because I always wanted to learn the piano.
