[B18] Prison Expansion

Hello,

I'm working on new mod that will be called "Prison Expansion". This mod is dedicated to support Prison Labor in more "agressive", or more "altered" way than Prison Labor.
For those that do not know Prison Labor, or missing concept of it: Prison Labor is mod that implements new use for prisoners that you don't want to recruit nor to execute/release them. It should be vanilla-look, so it should avoid any heavily changes to the game.

Prison Expansion will include new items, or GUI changes that will improve Prison Labor, or any Prison gameplays.

I would like to hear your opinions on what additions would you like to see in this mod. Currently there is a working locker that let you force prisoners to wear specific clothes.

Implemented/Work in progress features:



  • Lockers - storage items, working similar to shelves. Forcing prisoners to wear clothes stored inside.
Considered features



  • Chains - replacement of vanilla mechanics, that will allow to enable/disable chains.
  • Fences - light, and cheap way to separate prisoners from restricted area. Prisoners can sometimes try to cross them.
  • Cameras - motivate when no warden is nearby.
  • Cell doors - lightweight door that is not airtight.
  • Electric chairs and gallows - more humane way to execute, lower penalty

Area prison, chain the prisoner pawn to a post.
or
any system that prevents prison break really.
That would enable a really large workforce, instead of having to restock new prisoners after each prison break.
or maybe you could borrow Thirite's will system code, so a prisoner that have tried several failed escape attempts would resign to their fate as docile prisoner, and doesn't participate in the next prison break.
I use your prison labor as in prison workforce, and Thirite's simple slavery as unsullied soldiers.

A new stock area or filter named prison only. To allow us to put itens that they'd use for wearing or working. And a sentence system maybe, like if they do 300 shirts they could get free or so. More prison beds and itens. Some ideias folk hope you enjoy it. Very excited to see your mod!

A way to remotely disable bionics in prisoners, maybe with a surgery to add the switch to the bionic part and a building that can disable bionics with the hediff(not sure if bionics can have hediffs though). If that isn't possible then maybe some custom bionics that have this functionality, or maybe a brain implant. It could be balanced for combat by making enemies have a chance to hack it and send the shutdown signal in combat.
Also, we don't really have any non lethal turrets for dealing with prison breaks.

a bomb collar a simple device that would lower the possibility of prison break, when attached to prisoner, around neck or any limb and they leave permitted area it would explode

Wht about no penalty (penalty=false) when something happen (something like extract a finger xD) but nobody know what happen in prison, only the wardens!! unless the warden comment it to another colonist (when they are eating for example) if that happen the penalty=true, but we need a torture system too. and another things.. hey this is funny!! xd

That would be AMAZING!
I hope that it will be added. Finally some more prisoner stuff

JobGiver_TakeFromLocker throws NullRefException: pawn.outfits is null.

Since you making a prison mod. Think on adding Tasers, Police batons, pepper sprays which can inflict more pain.

Pepper sprays so they can reduce drastically vision from prisoners.
Police batons obviously to cause pain.
Tasers to securely taking them down, which a risk of causing heart attack.

prison economy. items only of use for prisoners that they can sell between themselves, libraries or a shop set up for them to purchase from the colony.
