Frequency of translations updates
« on: September 02, 2018, 04:02:24 PM »

Hello. I tried the clean installation of Rimworld beta 19 on Steam. There was a problem: Some translation files are missing, even though they were available on github (about one month before beta 19 release).

Missing files (in czech translation):
Code: [Select]
Items_Resource_Stuff_Leather.xml
ResearchProjects_1.xml
ResearchProjects_2_Electricity.xml
ResearchProjects_3_Microelectronics.xml
ResearchProjects_4_MultiAnalyzer.xml
lots of customized strings
and some original strings
and much more

I do not know how often the translation files are updated before releasing new versions of Rimworld. Maybe there is a mistake elsewhere.

If possible, i think players will appreciate more frequent updates of translation files.

Thanks in advance for your answer.

I updated the translations very close before the release of beta 19.

I'm not sure why anything would be missing, unless it was placed in the wrong folder. We do delete excess folders beside the core necessary ones. However I just checked and the folders seem right now.

Basically I can't explain why any file would be missing. You'll have a chance to let me know during the now-public unstable (still no translations updates on that yet).
