if you are trying to speed up, watch out for the VERY VERY VERY VERY dangerous drunks (that speed up when drunk)
have seen this once, and it almost caused me to stop drinking (for an hour)

ut wus because dey was a drunk as me, but moving and responding twice as fast, und I had to go to max sensing to fugere oot whut wus the cause, de bugger had had a drug whut sped up de metabliisim(smelt it), but also increased the effect of incahol(and unfortunatly de drug can effect  by smell as well as consumption) so I had to be carful for a wile
